S. Tarwinder Singh, Managing Director “CHAIN OF DIPS INSTITUTIONS”, was born at Dhilwan on 24 March, 1971. He had his school education at Jalandhar and Chandigarh, and graduated from DAV College Jalandhar. With his progressive outlook and futuristic vision, he took a plunge into education sector in the year 1995. With his persistent endeavours and unflinching passion for quality education, the Educational Chain which started with a single school at Dhilwan, grew into a strong chain of educational institutions with twenty-one schools, two degree colleges, two educational colleges, one under graduate and post graduate management college and one polytechnic college. He is instrumental in introducing state of art smart classes in the “Chain of DIPS Institutions” and has made every school a smart school. He introduced a free and fair system of educational evaluation by setting up an independent DIPS Educational Research and Development Board. The Board exclusively looks after academic upliftment of the entire chain by following the most progressive and computerized system of evaluation. Apart from academics, he has also given impetus to sports sector by providing state of art equipment and infrastructure, and appointing an exclusive team of sportsmen under sports director for bringing forth and training the ace sportsmen of Chain of DIPS Institutions. His futuristic vision and persistent endeavour to settle for nothing but the best has taken Chain of DIPS Institutions to the zenith of success and glory. He believes that training should be aimed at the evolution of the pioneers and pace–setters in different disciplines of life. His foremost priority has always been to maintain a total quality control and quality enhancement and he has left no stone unturned to ensure it at all the schools and colleges of ‘DIPS’ Fraternity. He has always been magnanimous and prompt in providing the best of infrastructure facilities. He is a man with a vision and determination. His unique style of functioning and simple habits has endeared him to one and all. We are sanguine that under his august and dynamic leadership the “Chain of DIPS Institutions” shall soon set up new milestones of academic excellence.
