It was with such urge and a benign motivation that Sardar Gurbachan Singh, Chairman DIPS Chain, planted a sapling in 1994 in the form of first DIPS School at village Dhilwan in Distt. Kapurthala (Punjab) which has spanned out richly. The chain now has a young and energetic Chief Administrative Officer, Mr. Ramneek Singh, the third-generation entrepreneur in the family business. The professed aim of the DIPS Chain is to churn out adolescents, who are intellectually sound, vigilant, innovative and at the same time, embrace high moral values with a great degree of emotional intelligence.
Ramneek, who has completed his bachelor’s from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, feels that some of the bright minds of our nation are rapidly leaving their homeland in pursuit of higher studies and employment opportunities abroad. We are losing our intellect and work force which may hamper the long-term development scope of our country. Ramneek has seen the good and the bad of both Indian and American educational systems and believes that while no system is perfect or complete, there is a lot of work still to be done at the grass root level to evolve a better education structure in India.
